Why Become an Accredited ‘Employer of Choice’?
Great staff make a huge difference to both the outcomes achieved by a school and the school’s culture. Attracting and retaining great staff is paramount. Superstar Teachers – dedicated, hardworking, talented staff who have a great work ethic and a terrific attitude are very much in-demand! They are highly sought after and can ‘pick and choose’ where they would like to work. To attract (and retain) such staff, it is more important than ever, that school leaders position their school to be the ‘Employer of Choice’.
What Does Being an ‘Employer of Choice’ Mean?
Being an ‘Employer of Choice’ means becoming recognised as a school who potential and existing employees want to work for, over and above others. Positioning your school as an ‘Employer of Choice’ is important as we approach a shortage of talented teachers.
Superstars want to work in a school culture where morale is high and staff feel supported. Great staff want to work in schools where they feel valued and are part of a team that is making a difference.
